NSW Seniors Peer Education Centre provides fre health information sessiosn to seniors on a variety of health and wellbeing topics. Very often, this a senior providing care to someone else - a spouse, young adult offspring or grandchildren.
Our free sessions - on topics like managing medication safely (useful for those providing care to someone on a daily range of medicines) to depression in older people.
We encourage seniors providing care to another person to contact us and to discuss how our free service may benefit your own.
Similarly, we understand that senioirs from CaLD backgrounds can often find it difficulto to access good quality information on health. We have session resources in a variety of languages, so we believe we can help plug that gap.
